Sirs, I was taken with Mr. Adam's and Mr. EmGeeCeCe's 'racing style' retro bottles, seen recently.
Metal bottles with synthetic tubes enabling hydration whilst in motion. I ventured to copy this
idea but have come across a problem: with the dreadful 'third world' surface roads some of us
have around Britain, I have found it increasingly hard to obtain fluid without ending up with the
said tubes inserted somewhere very embarrassing.
Is the success to drinking on the go down to practice or luck?
TCP.

There's an old technique if you want to drink while cycling:
1. Remove pipe from mouth.
2. Insert tube or tubes into mouth.
3. Close lips.
4. Inhale and swallow.
This way your nose is free if you want to breathe during the process!
