Now With Sideburns

A few of you may remember a competition launched by the esteemed Mr Photographer where we Gentlemen were encouraged to grow a Soup Strainer to be judged at the Velo Vintage Ride on the 9th of September.

Originally the competition was limited to Gentlemen capable of growing a moustache, now inspired by Mr Wiggins and his notable sidies a chap is now eligible if he has a decent set of pork chops.

So Gentlemen, a call to arms, or at least whiskers for the 9th of September, we at the Guvnors’ Assembly are all for as many people riding as possible but we can’t have a none Assembly chap running off with a prize from out very own Mr Photographer.

If I am honest it is one we can manage without, but yet again despite the weather’s best efforts spirits were resolutely high […]
