Happy New Year to Guvnor Riders!

by Adam on 31, December, 2011

Whilst having a rummage around in my Library the original sales brochure happened to fall off the shelf, as is my want, I started to flick through the contents amongst the delicious illustrations my attention was drawn to the one entitled “Sure to make an impression wherever you go”

As this is the season for contemplation I naturally began to meditate over the past few years of Guvnor ownership, in particular the last three of four months of the Guvnors’ Assembly, during this time I have had the privilege of meeting many varied and interesting riders in the flesh and many more via this electronic media all of whom I would happily ride and of course go for a pint with.

The Guvnor rides are starting to gain a real momentum, the spirit of the Guvnor seems to be very much encapsulated on these rides, the social aspect playing as an important role as the actual ride, the site of several Guvnor riders in full flight is as the image instructs “guaranteed to make an impression”.

The forthcoming year is already showing a lot of promise for a few interesting rides and events in addition to our usual monthly rides, I must say I am really rather looking forward to it.

Ladies and Gentlemen on behalf of The Guvnors’ Assembly, I wish you all the very best for the forthcoming year and thank you for your help, input and support in 2011.

Cheers!

Happy Yew Year, all at the Assembly. It’s your dedication to the brand and the work put into organising the runs and the web site that keeps us alive. 2012 will be even better.
Proud to know you sirs.
