Moustache Pencils

by Adam on 16, December, 2011

It is now a few short weeks since the Tweed Run in London, during the course of the day it became apparent that not only where a few gentlemen to be seen sans moustache but rumour has it individuals had sunk to Dick Dastardly levels of subterfuge and were in fact sporting false topiary.

I sleep well at night knowing no members of The Guvnors’ Assembly would ever plumb such deep and dark waters.

Now the Great December Moustache Cull has ended and nights are getting darker, I offer to you these pencils, balanced jauntily on one’s top lip a chap (or chapess) can look wistfully into the past whilst you update your journals with your previous year’s adventures.

Of course if you have never had a moustache you could take this opportunity to try the different styles available and maybe consider a little foliage.

Ne’er mind the false top lip adornments, I like these moustachioed pencils. Very much. Are they being touted as official GA accoutrements? If so, my feelings of ‘want’ and ‘need’ are ever so great.

I want one. Where did you get them?

Afternoon Ms. Stokes,

As these were a gift I would not be so rude as to ask where they were sourced from, although it may have been the Paul Smith shop. Failing that a quick search for “moustache pencils” using a popular research engine will yield suitable results.

I trust this will help you achieve your heart’s desire.

Thanks, a quick google images has narrowed it down to a firm called but they are extremely expensive!

The Curiosity Shoppe tell me today that they have stopped doing those, ah well. I’ll stay on the lookout.

Hm, at 2.20 Euro each I would do just as well to buy a pack of plain ones from Poundland and draw the moustaches on myself!

A land where everything is one Pound? Marvellous!
